Plein Air Painting Workshops 2008

Paint with Mark Kerckhoff in his native California!inning artist and teacher, Mark Kerckhoff’s love of California landscape will be demonstrated in this series of class offerings. Classes will include demonstrations and personal instruction. You will learn how to select subjects, compose an oil painting, avoid pitfalls, block in main shapes. Drawing , value, and color will be emphasized. Painting locations have been personally chosen with a painter’s eye.

Mark’s paintings express the abundance and expansiveness of nature while keeping nature’s spontaneity.  Your painting experience will reflect the footsteps of Edgar Payne, Guy Rose , William Wendt  and others.
