One Day Painting Laguna Beach Workshop

In this workshop, we’ll study the art of picture-making: shaping lights and darks, and exploring value and color. There will be lots of focused learning throughout the day.

The class is designed for painters at all levels, from beginner to advanced. We’ll work hard and have a great time doing it, with plenty of personal instruction.

The locations are chosen with an “artist’s eye.”

March is a beautiful time of year in Laguna; however,  layered clothing is recommended.

Here is my materials list. You may have your own favorite supplies. This list helps you navigate to my recommendations.

I use Utrecht, M.Graham, Old Holland,Winsor Newton, and Pretested Grumbacher would be my others.  Stay away from student grade paint.
